Cosmeston Relay Race

Wednesday 6th July 2022, 7pm

We run in multiple teams of 3 or 4 as Port Talbot Harriers in different age categories.

Now in its 29th year, the Cosmeston Relay Race is a hugely popular 3 mile, chip-timed, baton relay race in the picturesque Cosmeston Lakes Country Park.

Cosmeston Lakes Country Park is one of the finest country parks in South Wales and is a designated local nature reserve. It offers some scenic running, with views of the lake to start, open countryside and a shaded wooded section.

Each runner completes 1 circuit of the 3 mile (approx.) undulating course in teams of either 3 or 4 runners.  There are 11 team categories with plenty of healthy competition – and chances to win prizes for both athletic club and all-comers teams.

A record capacity field of 250 teams have entered in recent years – and the race often sells out in 15 minutes!
